•SECTOR » Gravis Apartment Complex. Lacus is used to luxury, it has always been normal for her. Though she wouldn't mind having to survive with less, she has grown to love her current lifestyle.
•OCCUPATION » Singing idol, performing at the Gravis Concert Stage.
•PERSONALITY » Lacus is calm and grown up, usually acting very mature for her age. She does not like violence at all and always attempts to achieve peace. She's very understanding, and likes helping out others. This is one of the main reasons for her singing career, she hopes to comfort and help people with her calm, supportive songs. She's very loving and outgoing, always up for some fun or a nice conversation.
•APPEARANCE » Her most outstanding traits are her bright blue eyes and long pink hair, which comes down to her hips and is slightly wavy at the ends. Her body appears very fragile; she's 158cm (~5'2") tall and weighs 53kg (~117lbs). Nonetheless, she is able to stand up for herself when needed.
She's usually seen wearing dresses or skirts, most of them featuring purple and white.
•HISTORY » During the ongoing war between coordinators and 'normal' humans, Lacus is the one fighting for peace. She is engaged to Athrun Zala, a coordinator, though it is clearly only for political reasons. (Athrun and Lacus’ fathers are both very strong and respected political figures.) The political aspect aside, they do get along pretty well. She also has a close friendship with Kira, a fellow coordinator who is fighting for the Earth Forces.
She tries to make the world calm down with her songs and speeches, attempting to stop the war. However, since she is a coordinator herself, she is seen as a traitor and is forced to hide. Because Athrun’s father sees her and her father as a threat now, the engagement is called off. While Kira & Athrun are fighting and Lacus is hiding, her father gets killed. This leaves her with nothing but her Haro’s.
Haro is a little robot, shaped like a ball with flapping ears. They have a limited vocabulary, though Lacus talks to them just the same. She's said to have about 35 of them, in different colors, and they were all made for her by Athrun, her ex-fiancée.
The one she carries around all the time is a pink model, Pink-chan.
With help from Kira, she forms a group to end the war. Athrun ends up joining them later, as well as various members from the Earth forces and the Coordinators. She tries to achieve peace without actually fighting. She’s constantly questioning others on what they should really be fighting against, and together they search for the answer to this question.
•FAKE MEMORIES » Born and raised in Gravis, Lacus has gotten used to the luxury that is her life. Ever since she was a kid, she has loved singing and performing, and her parents had no problems paying for the best, most expensive music schools. Thanks to this, she grew up to be one of the most loved idols of the moment, her songs calm and soothing.
Her parents died in an accident while she was at school a year ago, and thanks to this she has matured a lot. She carries around with her a little robot, Haro, which she believes to be a gift from her parents. She has had it since she was a kid and it serves almost as a pet, comforting her when needed and entertaining her when she’s bored.
Since her parents are no longer around, she now lives on her own, making money while having fun; singing.
